How does the check-in service work?
We meet over phone or video-chat to determine your family needs. Your child's schedule is added to our system and they get called or text reminders of tasks you set for them. We document their level of responsiveness and send you a collated update.
What are the benefits of using Check In Crew?
Parents stay informed of their child's progress.
Kids improve their level of responsibility and sense of independence.
Is there anything that I need besides a subscription?
Our service uses live telephone and direct messaging to engage your child and keep them on schedule. Your child will need either a phone or tablet with a compatible call and text feature. If they don't have a phone, ask us for alternatives that we support.
How does the subscription service work?
Every new sign-up receives 1 free week. After that your subscription get's billed automatically once a month. You can pause or cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellations will receive a refund of time left in the month up to 75% to cover the scheduling adjustment for the following week.
What happens if our schedule needs changing?
Once confirmed we will adjust our calendar for the following week at the latest. The more advance notice (class or activity schedule) we have the more accurately our service can assist you.
In response to unexpected sickness or breaks, please message us the changes ASAP and we will adjust our schedule to match.
What if my child's schedule is heavier on some days than ever?
We get it! A couple days may be light, and overload on others . . . Our package options can accommodate those crazy days without hurting your budget! Each subscription comes with a max set of check-ins for the week, while ideally they would spread out over the weekdays, we can shift the schedule to match your needs.
Why do you mention calls over texts?
Our adaptive approach is to meet your unique families dynamics. Some kids will respond better to a live text message, while others will take a phone call more seriously. While trying to find the best balance to keep them on task and not be unnecessarily bothersome our goal is to keep them positively engaged and on time! Either way as long as they respond immediately that they are ready or already completed, we take note of it, and share their activities and responses with you regularly to give you the discretion over your child's needs.
What if my I don't use all the check-ins in my subscription?
Each plan is competitively priced for most expected scenarios. Any unused check-ins will not be reimbursed or carried to another week. However, you can request a downgrade for the following month.
